Cincinnati man arrested after chase from Ripley to Aberdeen

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was involved in a motor vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash. The suspect then exited his vehicle and fled on foot. The trooper began to chase the suspect on foot and the suspect jumped into the Ohio River. The suspect willingly exited the river and was taken into custody.

Paint Valley Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board provides blankets to area homeless

Juni Frey, executive director of the Paint Valley ADAMH board, said, “Unfortunately many of the homeless suffer from either a mental illness or a substance abuse problem but are unwilling to seek treatment. Providing a warm blanket is a small way to show someone does care.”

The weekend at the King of Cornhole for Jay Dotson and Brandon Hill was one of high success, as they finished runners up in the doubles event, while placed in the individual category as well. Dotson and Hill finished in second place in the world doubles event as they lost a close match to eventual world champions Shane Andrews and Danny Black.
