Dr. Jim Vanzant re-appointed to Dangerous and Restricted Animals Advisory Board

Dr. James R. Vanzant of Hillsboro has been re-appointed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich to the Dangerous and Restricted Animals Advisory Board for a term beginning Jan. 17, 2013, and ending Jan. 15, 2016.

Alan L. Sironen of Lorain County also has been appointed to the board, the governor's office announced this week.

In other appointments, Kasich announced:
• Derek L. Ferguson of Wintersville (Jefferson Co.) has been appointed to the Eastern Gateway Community College Board of Trustees for a term beginning January 17, 2013, and ending October 16, 2017.
• William W. Montgomery of Celina (Mercer Co.) has been appointed to the Wright State University Board of Trustees for a term beginning January 17, 2013, and ending June 30, 2013.

• Dr. Anul Goyal of Centerville (Montgomery Co.) has been appointed to the Wright State University Board of Trustees for a term beginning January 17, 2013, and ending June 30, 2019.
