As we work toward finalizing our budget for the upcoming year, it is important to acknowledge that, while the budget itself will be smaller compared to the previous year, our total expenses will appear significantly higher – by more than $5 million. This increase is primarily due to a state grant we are receiving, which requires us to account for the full value of the grant funds.

Just this year, Diana Stuckey of Bainbridge was diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease, and her best chance of survival lies in the hands of someone willing to be a living kidney donor. What can you do? If you're healthy, age 18-70 and willing to donate a kidney, Diana may be able to accept the transplant.

In my opinion, Greenfield is the greatest rural American small town to exist. It is time to come together as a great community.

Since I moved here in 1980, there hasn't been a safety/service director or city/village administrator who has lived within Greenfield proper. I also noticed that at least three (maybe four) of the persons whose names appear on the letter do not reside within Greenfield proper and therefore are not citizens of Greenfield.

In a political climate ranging from obstructionist or hateful, Samantha Meadows, congressional candidate for Ohio’s Second District, offers plans, policies and across-the-aisle collaboration that benefits all of us. 

We have to elect people who believe in liberty and justice for all of us, not just themselves.

Please help us support the over 60 public health programs in Highland County that prevent disease, protect our kids, and provide safe food for our community.

I have always known that federal legislation in the 1970s mandates that every child in the U.S. has been given the right to free speech therapy. This right to free speech therapy serves all types of speech problems faced by children.

The Ohio Democratic Party has finally recognized that relying on only the 3-C’s – Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati – is no longer a winning strategy.  

The state Senate unanimously passed Senate Resolution 121 supporting the continued buildout of natural gas infrastructure and recognizing the strategic value of U.S. LNG to help sustain good American jobs and safeguard our national security.

In a summons dated Dec. 29, 2023, it states I knowingly permitted solid waste to exist on my property. I have never put trash on my property, and the pile of trash was dumped on my property after closing hours.
