On April 6, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter hosted the annual FFA Banquet. This banquet is held to congratulate and award all of their members achievements throughout the year.

One of the big achievements that is awarded is the Bankers Award. This award is given to seniors who turned in a completed record book based on their Supervised Agricultural Experience. Their record book is completed throughout their years in FFA on AET.

The Bankers Award is a $50 check given to the seniors picked based on their good records, and one senior receives a $100 check for the most completed recorded book. The award was sponsored by Merchants National Bank and presented by Beth Roehm.

The seniors who received the $50 Bankers Award consisted of Julie Bass, Presley Blankenship, Carter Boyd, Gavin Brown, Dalayna Collins, Makenna Dalton, Kendall Dean, Madison Dearmon, Kallie Fraley, Riley Garrison, Kora Greene, Kailyn Greer, Blake Herdman, Shaila Hodge, Kendall Hudson, Halle Jones, Addyston Knauff, John Pegram, Kallie Sharp, Christopher Sowders, Camryn Spruell, Olivia Swackhammer, LeeAnn Vance and Emma Yochum. Corbin Winkle received the $100 check for having the best record book.

We greatly appreciate the donation from Merchants National Bank to sponsor the Bankers Award that was given to our seniors.
