A male suspect initially provided false information and was later arrested. That suspect is Matthew Fahnestock, 27, of Hillsboro.

At approximately 3 a.m., officers returned to the motel and arrested Michelle Meddock, 28, of Hillsboro.

According to the HPD, a "one-pot methamphetamine cook" was found in the motel room.

A search warrant was obtained and other items were located, the HPD said.

The incident remains under investigation.
