After having a Southern Hills League game postponed on Friday, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs were able hit the road Saturday night but were unable to return home with a win, falling to the Huntington Huntsmen, 59-50.

For the program known for their defense, which was there for the Tigers all four quarters, their offense showed up in full force in the final two quarters (including 15-0 run to start the fourth). The combination of defense, along with their second-half offense, allowed the Tigers to defeat the Unioto Shermans, 49-39 at McClain High School, handing UHS their second loss of the season.

Being held to seven points in the first quarter put the McClain Tigers in a tough spot early on Friday night at Madison-Plains High School. In fact, it ended up being too much to overcome, as the visiting Tiger team fell to the Golden Eagles 54-42 in South Central Ohio League play.

It took an extra four minutes, but the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs left Ripley High School with a Southern Hills League win. LC fended off a tough Ripley team for a 45-44 overtime win on Thursday night at RHS.
