Highland County Press sports editor Stephen Forsha previews the upcoming three boys basketball sectional final games for this Friday and Saturday at Southeastern High School and Waverly. Included are comments from Highland County coaches, along with stats about each team playing in the games.

The Fairfield sixth grade boys basketball team won the league tournament at Bright Elementary, adding success to their record of 20-1. The team also won tournaments earlier in the season at Whiteoak and Lynchburg.

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs earned their 11th overall win of the season Tuesday night. In the process of winning, LC moved forward in postseason play, defeating the West Union Dragons 60-37 Tuesday at Waverly in a Division III SE District sectional semifinal matchup.

In what is considered the second season, the McClain Tigers are undefeated. Using a 22-point fourth quarter, the Tigers have advanced to the sectional final, by way of defeating the Miami Trace Panthers, 53-38, Tuesday at Southeastern High School.

Boys and Girls High School Basketball Results will be listed throughout the season for the SCOL and SHL.

The Lynchburg-Clay 7th grade boys basketball team, who were the Southern Hills League Division I league champion. The team went 6-1 in SHL play and were the SHL tournament runner-up.
