Indians drop road match to Broncos

MT. ORAB — The Hillsboro Indians' boys tennis team dropped a non-league match to the Western Brown Broncos Wednesday at WBHS by a score of 4-1.

The lone HHS win came from Reese Leibreich with a three-set win over Western's Mcree Kidwell by scores of 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 in first singles.


[[In-content Ad]]In second singles, Alex Rhoads (HHS) fell to Chase Latham 1-6, 3-6; and in third singles Patrick Shanahan (HHS) lost in third singles to Brandon Elliott in three sets by scores of 4-6, 6-2, 3-6.

In the doubles matches, Christian Gunderman and Ryan Palmer (HHS) lost in two sets by scores of 2-6, 3-6 in first doubles; and in second doubles, the HHS duo of Michael Gunderman and Brendan Eltzroth lost by scores of 0-6, 1-6.
