The Lynchburg-Clay FFA Chapter was awarded their 3-Star National Chapter Award, which is the highest rating an FFA chapter can earn from the National FFA Organization. The award is based on the chapter’s activities within three divisions: Student, Chapter, and Community.

The Leesburg Lions Club will be hosting the 28th annual Luminaria on Sunday, Dec. 11. This year’s event will begin at 5 p.m. with the lighting of the luminaries. A home decorating contest is open to all residents in the Fairfield Local School District. The only stipulation is that Lions' luminaries be used as part of the decoration.

The final game of the night was the boys varsity game between HCA and ACCS. HCA finished the night strong with a close, come-from-behind victory, 48-46. The Crusaders overcame a 10-point deficit for the win. They were led by Darius Mustard with 23 points.
