East Clinton High School will present "Seussical, the Musical" (based on the works of Dr. Seuss) Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at the Murphy Theatre in Wilmington.

Wilmington College’s observance of Women’s History Month will conclude with a presentation by acclaimed literary scholar Beverly Wilson Palmer March 30, at 7 p.m. in the T. Canby Jones Meetinghouse at WC’s Meriam R. Hare Quaker Heritage Center.

Hillsboro resident Amy E. Petzold was cast in Wilmington College Theatre’s winter production of A.R. Gurney’s The Dining Room.

On March 2nd, Fairfield 8th grade held their 8th grade science fair.  Ten team projects received superior ratings and will be representing Fairfield at the District Science Day at Wilmington College on March 27th.  The top projects include:

The Highland County Christian School recently participated in the Operation Feed America Program. The students collected a total of 225 cans.  The individual grade winners are as follows:

The University of Dayton has named more than 2,100 students to the dean's list for the fall semester of the 2009-2010 academic year. To be named to the dean's list at UD, a student must achieve a superior academic record, which is a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Megann Hendricks, a Lynchburg Clay High School freshman, recently received several awards from the Ohio Poetry Association.  The association, chartered originally as the Verse Writers' Guild of Ohio, is a nonprofit, educational organization that strives to promote the art of poetry and support poets and others who appreciate poetry.

The beginning of the month brings a new group of students to the forefront for their excellence at Whiteoak High School.

The Greenfield Exempted Village School District Kindergarten Registration will be held from April 13-15, 2010.  The child must be at least five years of age by September 30, 2010 to register.  Please note that parents will register their child at their school of residence.  At Greenfield Elementary, registration will be according to the child's birth date.
