A late 3-pointer by the home team Fairfield Lady Lions pushed the game against the visiting Whiteoak Lady Wildcats into overtime on Thursday night. Though FHS was the team with the momentum going into OT, it was Whiteoak who battled and earned the Southern Hills Athletic Conference win by a 52-47 score at Grandle Gymnasium.
Longtime Whiteoak High School boys varsity baseball Chris Veidt accepted a well-deserved induction into the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, held this week in conjunction with the OHSBCA Annual Clinic. The Hall of Fame induction is the highlight of the award's luncheon.
For the 11th time this season the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats left the court with a victory, and on Monday night they did so by defeating the visiting East Clinton Lady Astros, 37-32.
