Tom and Darlene (nee Hicks) Kieffer, Sardinia, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 8. The couple were married on June 8, 1963 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Arnheim by the Rev. Frey.
Richard and Alberta Quickle of Fairfax celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 26. The couple were married in Belfast on that date in 1948 by the Reverend Tumbleson.
Altrusa of Highland County has installed another Little Free Library. The club chose the Mowrystown community because there is no Highland County library in Mowrystown.
Highland County Pigs, Poultry and Lambs 4-H Club held a regular meeting on June 9 at the Hamer Township building. All members and parents brought in nonperishable food items and personal care items to be donated to the local Homeless Shelter.
