    The Highland County Poultry Association held their annual flea market on May 4th and 5th at the Highland County Fairgrounds.
  • 72 youths participate in STEM Camp
    Seventy-two youths from 11 counties participated in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Camp, June 4-6 at Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp. This was the first STEM camp developed and facilitated by OSU Extension 4-H Youth Development educators from Adams, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Meigs, Pike, Scioto and Vinton counties.

    Daisy Troop #134 of Hillsboro recently donated cookies to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital on behalf of the Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation. Daisy Troop #134 chose the Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation as their gift of sharing recipient during the 2013 cookie sales campaign.

  • Nursing Home Week celebrated

    The Laurels, Crestwood, Heartland and Edgewood Manor celebrated Nursing Home Week with a Senior Olympics and a picnic at the Liberty Park in Hillsboro. The event was coordinated by the activity directors, who thank all of the volunteers, Hospice, and East Ambulance for helping with the event.
