Rocky Fork Community Alliance hosts Dep. Richard Warner

The Rocky Fork Community Alliance held its monthly meeting on Aug. 15 at the Activity Center off North Shore Drive.

Among those in attendance was Deputy Richard Warner, coordinator of the Neighborhood Watch program through the Highland County Sheriff's Office.

In an ongoing effort to help reduce theft in the county, the Rocky Fork Community Alliance, along with member Kay McGarvey, has donated indelible marking pens and lights to read marked items to the Highland County Sheriff's Office.

Pens for marking personal inventory are available from the Alliance and will be sold during the Alliance's second flea market.

• The Alliance will host its second flea market at the parking area at North Beach on Sept. 21-22. Any vendors wishing to secure a space should call Angie at (937) 365-1601, Margie at (937) 750-7931, Sally at (937) 365-1331 or Sharon at (937) 365-1658 for more information or to sign up.
