Tori Walker and Kylie Douglas named 2013 Outstanding Junior Leaders

Tori Walker and Kylie Douglas were recognized at the Highland County Fair during the Special Interest Awards program as the 2013 Outstanding Junior Leaders.

Walker is a senior at Whiteoak High School and a member of All About Beef 4-H Club and Junior Fairboard.

Douglas is a junior at Whiteoak High School and a member of Barnyard Bunch 4-H Club.

Both Walker and Douglas have demonstrated excellent leadership within the Highland County Junior Leadership Club, as camp counselors and in other organizations.

The JL club is an organized program of activities which encourages older youth to develop new knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to leadership & citizenship, while meeting with other 4-H'ers from around the county. Any teens, ages 13-18, can be involved in the Highland County Junior Leadership club.
