Penn Township (Samantha) School holds 60th annual reunion

The 60th Penn Township (Samantha) School reunion was held Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Samantha Friends Church, with a delicious carry-in dinner at 12:30 p.m.

Those attending were: Jane (Teeters) Helterbrand of Washington C.H.; Bob and Carol (Patton) Dunlap and daughter Michelle of Leesburg; Sarah (Chaney) Bales of Leesburg; Larry and Linda (Ashley) Lucas of Athens; Tony and Connie Cannon of Leesburg; Richard and Norma (Gray) Edwards of Leesburg; Tom and Kathy Caldwell of Hillsboro; Roger and Arlene Huffman of Hillsboro; Garnet (Holt) Wilkin of Hillsboro; Marjorie (Douglas) Pierce of Hillsboro; Ruth Ann
(Carey) Ashley of Hillsboro; Carl and Janet Carmean of Blanchester; Judy (Bailey) Missildine of Hillsboro; Donna (Bailey) Osborn of Hillsboro; Geneva and Margeret Burns of Hillsboro; Marcia (Meddock) Brownlee of Dayton; Merlin Meddock of Sabina; Marvin Meddock of Hillsboro; Lulabelle (Snider) Teeters of Leesburg; Sandy Tompkins of Hillsboro; and Sheila (Caldwell) Parshall of Leesburg.

The next reunion will be held Sept. 21, 2014 at the Samantha Friends Church.
