On May 9, the Hillsboro FFA Chapter held Food For America at the Tipton's family farm. Food For America is an event held for the kindergarteners of Hillsboro Elementary School.

DURHAM, N.C. – Hillsboro High School graduate (class of 2009) Holly M. Hilliard has graduated summa cum laude from Duke University's Trinity College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor's degree in English. Hilliard graduated Sunday at Duke University's 161st commencement ceremony.

Terry Fouch, superintendent of Greenfield Exempted Village School District, is pictured with Ricquel Stinson, president of the Region 14 Parent Advisory Council. Mr. Fouch was honored for his outstanding service and support to students with disabilities in Greenfield Schools and Region 14. Mr. Fouch will be retiring this summer.

UC Clermont College will again be offering Calico Theatre Camp this summer on campus. The camp is a fully-staged musical for young actors in grades K-12 (kindergartners must be entering first grade in the fall of 2013). Camp will take place June 10-15.

On Friday, April 26, the McClain show choir performed six selections for the crowd of onlookers. Included in the selections were "Dancing In The Street," "Stuck Like Glue," "You Make Me Feel So Young," Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride," "Be Our Guest," and "Under The Sea."

Dr. Brittany Brand, associate professor of Geology at Boise State University in Idaho will be the keynote speaker at the UC Clermont Commencement Celebration on Friday, April 26 at the Oasis in Loveland.

Lynchburg-Clay Elementary teachers and staff helped the students kick off the start to the OAA testing Monday with a “Flash Mob” during the third, fourth and fifth grade lunches.
