Whiteoak senior Landen Eyre kicked off the 2024 season with a first-place finish at the OHSAA Early Bird Preseason Invitational at Fortress Obetz, finishing with the fastest time out of 368 runners in the Boys 5K Team Run.
Both the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs and Hillsboro Lady Indians battled tough in the first half, as each team put on a strong display of soccer that left the visiting Lady Mustangs ahead by two goals.
