The third annual Chad Hodson Classic was held Saturday afternoon at Fairfield High School’s Grandle Gymnasium to honor and celebrate the life of Chad Hodson and his message of having the “ultimate teammate.”
For the first time the season, the Fairfield Lady Lions earned a win, and not just any win, as their victory on Thursday evening was a Southern Hills Athletic Conference win against a Highland County rival.
Sometimes one team is just more dominant in all aspects of the game, and that was the case Tuesday night where the Eastern Warriors played a more complete game, leading to them defeating the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs, 64-21.
The Lynchburg-Clay boys cross-country team was recognized at the LC Board of Education’s December meeting for all of their accomplishments during the season.
At the December board meeting, Lynchburg-Clay board members recognized Mrs. Leigh Ann Allemang, a seventh grade math teacher at Lynchburg-Clay Middle School.
