Playing six innings, the Fairfield Lady Lions forced a run-rule win on Tuesday evening, as FHS scored in all but one inning en route to gaining a 13-3 Southern Hills Athletic Conference win over rival Lynchburg-Clay.
Portsmouth opened Monday’s game with a three-run first inning, and it was too much for the away team Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs to overcome, as they dropped their 2023 season opener to the Portsmouth Trojans, 4-1.
Lynchburg-Clay teachers Brenda Keltner, JoHeather Arnett and Michelle Truman partnered with OSU Extension’s 4-H Youth Development Educator Kathy Bruynis to present Real Money, Real World to over 50 ninth grade students.
On April 22, Lynchburg Masonic Lodge will open their doors for a fish fry and public open house. The Lodge is located at 131 S. Main Street in Lynchburg, and it will hold this event from 4:30-7 p.m.
