Lady Mustangs tie in SHAC game against Eastern

In their Wednesday night Southern Hills Athletic Conference soccer game at Eastern High School, the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs and host Eastern Lady Warriors tied with a 1-1 score.
The lone goal by LCHS was scored by Jade Massey, and Eastern’s lone goal was scored by Emma Litzinger with the assist by Emmalee Belmont.
At goal for LCHS was Caitlyn Collins with three saves, while Eastern’s Katie Hunter had 15 saves.
LCHS is now 0-0-1 in SHAC games and 3-0-3 overall. Eastern stands at 0-2-1 in the SHAC standings and 1-3-1 overall.
LCHS will next play on Thursday, Sept. 14 on the road in an SHAC game against Fayetteville at 6 p.m.
