LC's Saxen Wilkin medalist at Hillsboro Invitational

The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs began the 2023 boys golf season playing in two invitationals, including having Saxen Wilkin earn co-medalist honors at the Hillsboro Invitational. 

At the Hillsboro Invitational, the Mustangs were fourth place out of seven teams, with Wilkin earning co-medalist honors with a score of 80. 

Also for the Mustangs, scores included: Braedon West (91), Cody Bell (98), Austin Bell (111) and Christian Flowers (113), for a team total of 380. 

At the Portsmouth Invitational, Lynchburg-Clay was 13th overall in the 22-team event. 

Wilkin led the Mustangs with a score of 85, followed by West totaling an 87 score. Cody Bell finished with a score of 89, and he was followed by Austin Bell at 94 and Cole Wells with a 101 score. LCHS finished the event with a score of 357.
