Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs score 9 goals in victory over Eastern

Wednesday night saw the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs boys soccer team earn a huge Southern Hills Athletic Conference win on the road against the Eastern Warriors.

LCHS won by a 9-0 score in a SHAC match that saw them dominate from start to finish.

Noah Blitzer and Trevor Niehaus each scored two goals, and with one goal apiece were Austin Bell, JJ Massey and Braedon West.

Assists were credited to Josiah Burns (two), Casey Holaday (two), Bell, Layne Ellis and Alexander VanFleet.

Isaac Eyre totaled two saves against Eastern in the shutout.

LCHS is now 1-0-0 in the SHAC and 1-2-2 overall.

Their next game is on the road on Monday, Sept. 18 at Clermont Northeastern at 5 p.m.
