In November 2022, the Highland County Humane Society received approximately $23,000 from the estate of a private donor. The funds will assist to launch a new program which hopes to assist in the spay and neuter efforts of community cats and pets throughout Highland County.

The Association of Ohio Commodores Foundation has awarded a grant of $26,900 to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio to help provide free books to young children in the state.

The Tax-Aide service, which will begin Feb. 6 and continue through April 10, will be located at Highland County Senior Citizens Center.
