Twisted Violet Homestead celebrates new location with ribbon cutting

Twisted Violet Homestead, located in downtown Hillsboro, celebrated their new location with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, March 10.

In attendance to help celebrate were family, friends, members of the community and Chamber Ambassadors, officers and staff. Twisted Violet Homestead is owned and operated by Heather Hughes and is located at 124 South High Street in Hillsboro.

Twisted Violet Homestead offers unique handmade goods and gifts including all-natural handmade bath and body products, teas, candles, custom T-shirts and spirit wear. DIY classes are also available for both kids and adults.

“The idea for my business came from my love of sharing the benefits of all-natural products and crafting,” said Heather Hughes, owner. “I want to thank my mom and dad for always supporting me and my family and friends, especially Kelli, who have all helped me keep this crazy dream going.”

Twisted Violet is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. For more information, including products, availability and more, please visit Twisted Violet Homestead’s Facebook page.
