Project Linus blanket-making workshop Oct. 27

A Project Linus blanket-making workshop will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Sardinia Church of Christ, 7130 Bachman Drive, Sardinia. Project Linus is a volunteer organization which contributes new handmade blankets to provide comfort and security to seriously ill and traumatized children.

Haley Bonecutter named 'Most Photogenic Baby'

Haley E. Bonecutter, the 4-year-old daughter of Kevin and Jaime (Edenfield) Bonecutter, was named America's Most Photogenic Baby (Cincinnati area) in a Children's Miracle Network national event which has raised more than $3 million for affiliated children's hospitals since 1994.

Blue Knights fund Christmas care packages through Support Our Troops of Highland County

The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, Ohio Chapter XX, which includes members from both the Hillsboro Police Department and the Highland County Sheriff's Office, is giving back to the community with a donation of $1,365.37 to Support Our Troops of Highland County (SOTOHC).
