Four members of Highland County Poultry, Pigs & Lambs 4-H Club and one member from Belfast Kids Unlimited joined together to compete in the 2013 Egg & Poultry Judging Contest. The annual judging was held at the Ohio State Fair exhibition center on July 20.

Highland County resident Charlotte Pack received the Bill Baker Scholarship, second place from the Antioch Writer’s Workshop. The scholarship was for the annual conference held at Antioch University Midwest branch in Yellow Springs during July.
