Highland County Sheriff Donnie Barrera reports that on Jan. 17, sheriff’s office detectives were doing surveillance on a possible stolen vehicle. The detectives observed the vehicle in question leave a residence in the 10,000 block of state Route 28. The detectives followed the vehicle and were waiting on other deputies to arrive to make a traffic stop on the truck.
