First State Bank donates to Hillsboro athletics

The First State Bank team is pleased to announce the donation of $900 to the Hillsboro Athletic Program for the winter sports season. The contribution toward the program was made at the Hillsboro High School basketball game on Tuesday, Jan. 17, against Adena High School.

The official check presentation was made between the first and second quarters. The check was presented by Andrea White, Brandon Mitchell and Connie Deters from the Hillsboro Banking Center to Dave Dietrick, athletic director, and Jarrod Rich, assistant athletic director.

“We are a local community bank and supporting our surrounding schools is very important to us,” said Andrea White from First State Bank. “We were excited to make the donation and it was great to have the opportunity to contribute to the Hillsboro Athletic Program.”
