The Associated Press reports that some of Ohio's ranking lawmakers, including two who represent Highland County in their respective districts, are planning to host political lobbyists at a pair of Florida fundraisers.
"The separate events benefiting House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger, R-Clarksville, and newly elected Senate President Larry Obhof, R-Medina, are scheduled for early next month," according to a Washington Times' report. The report says Rosenberger’s 2017 "Winter Warmer" will be Feb. 4 in Bonita Springs, near Naples. The general reception and dinner costs $1,000.
"Brunch and golf options are available to those who donate $5,000, $10,000 or $12,500 to Rosenberger’s campaign fund," the AP reports.
Obhof and Sen. Bob Peterson, R-Sabina, will host a fundraiser Feb. 2 in Key West.
