The Wildcats not only gained a win in the Division IV SE District Sectional Tournament for the second consecutive season, but they won their semifinal game by taking advantage of miscues from Notre Dame and making shots when they had the opportunity, eventually leading to a 48-33 victory.

The Hillsboro Lady Indians and the Fairfield Lady Lions each placed in the Top 4 in the sectional tournament this past week, where they both have qualified for the district round.
