Four players from Highland County have been selected to either the Division II or Division IV Ohio Prep Sportswriters All-Ohio teams for their play in the 2018-19 boys basketball season.

The Southern Hills Athletic Conference presented the Player of the Year awards for the 2018-19 winter season during their winter sports banquet.

The Southern Hills Athletic Conference honored the All-SHAC boys basketball team during their winter sports banquet.

Whiteoak senior Traeten Hamilton signed his letter of intent Friday, March 1 to play baseball at the University of Indianapolis.

Gaining a lead very early in their Division IV SE District Semifinal game against the Waterford Wildcats, the Whiteoak Wildcats needed more consistency in their scoring on Sunday evening, falling to Waterford at the Ohio University Convocation Center by a 56-43 score.
