Ohio Governor Ted Strickland this week signed into law Senate Bill 235, House Bill 330, and Senate Bill 51. Senate Bill 235 establishes the human trafficking offense in Ohio and strengthens the punishment of those who commit the crime.

Highland County commissioners met again Dec. 8 with representatives from Industrial First, the firm that is currently performing exterior repairs to the Highland  County Courthouse. In conjunction with Industrial First, representatives from Paragon Global Enterprises, LLC, also presented the commission with options for building maintenance and warranty protection.
