Classes for students attending McClain High School will begin on Thursday, Aug.19. All students attending McClain are to report at 7:40 a.m. to the McClain Gymnasium for an opening assembly.
The Hillsboro High School building will be open Thursday, Aug. 12 from 4-6 p.m. Students and parents are welcome to walk around the building and view the rooms. Teachers may or may not be available during that time. Teachers will be available during parent-teacher conferences Oct. 27 and March 24 from 3-9 p.m. to meet with parents.
Bright Local Schools has recently been awarded the Learn and Serve Ohio grant in the amount of $15,000. This is the fifth year to receive this grant, which continues to provide funding to collaborate school curriculum with community needs.
