Chatfield College to present Community Health Worker Program

Chatfield College, a private, Catholic, liberal arts college located in St. Martin and Cincinnati, will give a presentation about its Community Health Worker Program at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at the Highland County One Stop Employment Center in Hillsboro.

The Community Health Worker Program trains students to become frontline employees assisting nurses, social workers, nutritionists and other health care professionals in providing community health services.

Community Health Workers serve as liaisons and/or intermediaries between health and social services and the client or community and facilitate access to services.
