The 2024-25 basketball season kicked off for Hillsboro Christian Academy in Knightstown, Ind. on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the historic Hoosier Gym, home of the 1952 state champion Hickory Huskers and featured in the 1986 movie "Hoosiers."
Bryson Willey, a two-year starter on the Crusaders varsity basketball team, this week signed to play for Ohio Christian University’s basketball team for the upcoming season as a college freshman.
The Crusaders went 3-0 in the tournament, defeating the Bethel Baptist Mustangs, Liberty Bible Academy Patriots and the Cozzadale Baptist Academy Chargers. This performance resulted in the fifth straight EBC Tournament for HCA.

Hillsboro Christian Academy played host to Fayette Christian School in a pair of varsity basketball games on Monday, Dec. 11. The HCA Crusaders came from behind to win their game by a final score of 51-49, while the HCA Lady Crusaders won, 31-29.
The Milford Christian Academy Bulldogs hosted their annual Milford Bulldog Classic basketball tournament on Dec. 1-2. The Hillsboro Christian Academy Crusaders took part in the tournament, earning second place in both the varsity boys and varsity girls competitions.
Hillsboro Christian Academy hosted its first home basketball game of the season Tuesday, Nov. 21. The HCA Crusaders defeated the Scioto Christian Soldiers, 57-36, in the varsity boys matchup. The Lady Crusaders defeated the Lady Soldiers, 39-13.
Basketball season is underway for Hillsboro Christian Academy. Both the Crusaders and Lady Crusaders begin their seasons with a record of 1-1 after playing back-to-back days on Nov. 16-17.
The Hillsboro Christian Academy Lady Crusaders won their third straight Emmanuel Baptist Classic Tournament in varsity girls’ volleyball on Saturday, Oct. 14.
