In light of March being National Nutrition Month, Home Helpers of Hillsboro is educating the local community on how families can help each other remain healthy by making smart food choices.
The Southern State Singers will present a spring concert 3 p.m. Sunday, March 11, in Room 107 of Southern State Community College's Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro. The event is free and open to the public.
Jennifer West, director of the Highland District Library, will be leading a book discussion group at the center the first Wednesday of each month from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The group will select the books to read.

SATH (Supplementary Assistance to the Handicapped) a non-profit organization that provides leisure time activities for children with disabilities will hold its 13th annual Charity Auction on Saturday, March 3 at 10 a.m. in Hillsboro at the Highland County Fairgrounds in the Wharton Building.
