The past three games for the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs have seen them play hard, but the final results didn’t go in their favor as they’ve suffered losses on Saturday to Zane Trace and Williamsburg, and on Monday to the North Adams Lady Green Devils in a conference makeup game that was previously delayed. 

The past three games for the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs saw them win a game that was delayed last week at North Adams on Monday night, and this past Saturday, the Mustangs lost a tri-doubleheader at home against Zane Trace and Williamsburg.

KINNIKINNICK  —  The Division III SE District Sectional Semifinals didn’t have the start or final score the No. 19 seeded Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs wanted to achieve on Monday night. The Mustangs kept battling and made things interesting, but eventually lost to the host No. 14 seeded Zane Trace Pioneers, 49-41.

The McClain Tigers battled tough as the regular season continued to wind down Friday night (Feb. 9), as they lost by just two points against the host Zane Trace Pioneers, 35-33 at ZTHS. 

The McClain girls varsity basketball team celebrated senior night Wednesday with an impressive 60-23 shellacking of Zane Trace and wrap up the regular season with a 12-10 overall record and 8-3 in the Frontier Athletic Conference.

The McClain Lady Tigers girls golf team honored their lone senior, Jacolyn Bolender, as they hosted a match with Zane Trace and Piketon at Buckeye Hills on Thursday, Aug. 31.

In their Division III Southeast District Sectional Final game on Thursday (May 11), the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs lost by a 2-1 score to the Zane Trace Lady Pioneers at ZTHS.

Monday evening (May 8) saw the Whiteoak Wildcats continue to add to their overall win total for the 2023 season, as they defeated the Zane Trace Pioneers of the Scioto Valley Conference by a 5-4 score at WHS.
