It was all Zanesville in the first half Friday, Oct. 1, as the Blue Devils hosted the Hillsboro Indians at John D. Sulsberger Memorial Stadium. After 24 minutes of play, Coach Chad Grandstaff's Blue Devils held a commanding 29-8 halftime advantage. Zanesville went on to rout the Indians, 64-16.

The McClain Tigers have gone in a see-saw motion of sorts their past three games. In week three, they scored 42 points; in week four, no points; and last week, they put together a 52-point effort.

The schedule isn't getting any easier for the 1-4 Hillsboro Indians in week six. In fact, added with all the travel and the division of their opponent this week, it can be said this just might be the toughest test for the Indians of the season.
