  • SCOL disbandment procedures announced

    The South Central League Board of Control announced that it was beginning disbandment procedures. The league had accepted letters from Wilmington High School and Hillsboro High School, both expressing their intentions to join their new leagues in the 1992-93 school year. All SCOL activities would end at the spring banquet on May 19, 1992

    Whiteoak junior pitcher Gage Carraher not only helped lead the Wildcats' 8-1 Division IV SE District Sectional final win, but he did it by making the Manchester Greyhounds swing and miss … a lot, striking out 14 batters, setting the single season WHS strikeout record, en route to the Wildcats' 12th sectional championship.

  • Hillsboro sweeps Miami Trace Invitational
    Both the Hillsboro boys and girls track and field teams were victorious at the Miami Trace Invitational with the boys scoring 115.50 points and the girls scoring 146 points en route to sweeping the event held at Miami Trace High School.
