Lady Indians gain 2nd SCOL win

HILLSBORO — The Hillsboro Lady Indians are two-for-two at not only their home course, but two-for-two in South Central Ohio League play as they defeated the Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons, 199-224 at the Hillsboro Elks Golf Course, Monday.
 
Hillsboro is 2-0 in SCOL play this season, as they defeated the McClain Lady Tigers last week. On Monday vs. CM, the Lady Indians had two players score under 50 in the nine-hole event with Haylee Wehrung scoring a 46 and Arden Knauff totaling a 48 for HHS.
 

[[In-content Ad]]Mallory Mullenix ended the match with a 52, while teammate Halee Allen scored a 53. They were followed for HHS by Haleigh Lovett at 57 and Hanna Breeden at 65.
 
Clinton-Massie individual scores included: Gwen Brodrieu (53), Molly Scroggy (54), Cami Reveal (54), Courtney Lanier (63), Katie Starnes (70) and Emma Glass (72).
 
HHS is scheduled to play again on Tuesday when they travel to Buckeye Hills Country Club to take on the McClain Lady Tigers at 4:30 p.m.
