Lady Indians fall to visiting North Adams
In a very competitive match in non-conference play, the Hillsboro Lady Indias fell to the visiting North Adams Lady Green Devils in three sets.
North Adams currently leads the Southern Hills Athletic Conference (SHAC) standings, and HHS has battled in the Frontier Athletic Conference this season.
On Wednesday, NAHS won the first set at 25-15, but the second and third sets were closer on the scoreboard with set two going to the Lady Green Devils at 25-23, and the third set saw North Adams win by a score of 35-33.
HHS totaled 36 kills, with the leader being Samantha Tipton with 13 kills, followed by Camryn Spruell totaling nine kills and Ryan Wagoner totaling six kills. Others with kills for Hillsboro were Tylee Davis (five), Kayla Seeling (two) and Allie Roush (one).
Hillsboro also had two aces from Seeling and Roush, plus the Lady Indians had five blocks from Tipton.
The digs leader for HHS was Jadi Howland with 21, while Seeling tallied 19 digs and Davis had 18 digs. Teammate Wagoner finished with 13 digs, and the rest of the digs were from Addison Huff (nine), Roush (six), Spruell (five) and Tipton (one).
HHS was led in assists from Seeling with 28, while the rest of the assists totals included Tipton (two), Spruell (two), Howland (one) and Wagoner (one).
Hillsboro is now 11-6 overall, and they sit at 6-3 in the FAC. North Adams improves to 17-2, as they are also 10-0 in the SHAC.

Fairfield swept in 3 sets by Minford
The Fairfield Lady Lions were defeated on the road Wednesday evening against the Minford Lady Falcons in three straight sets
In the game at MHS, the Lady Lions lost by scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 25-16.
FHS is now 12-5 overall, and they are 10-1 in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference.

Whiteoak loses to Bethel-Tate in 3 sets
In a road match on Wednesday, the Whiteoak Lady Wildcats lost a non-conference match to host Bethel-Tate in three straight sets.
Whiteoak fell in set one at 25-17, and they lost set two by the same score. In the third and final set, WHS battled but lost by two points at 25-23.
Bethel-Tate improved to 4-13 overall. Whiteoak is now 1-18 overall and 1-9 in the SHAC.
