Southern Ohio Genealogical Society hosting virtual program on military genealogy

The Southern Ohio Genealogical Society will present a program Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.

The presentation is entitled “Was My William Smith in the Civil War?” by Brian Rinehart. Rinehart is a professional genealogist specializing in use of the National Archives in Washington, D.C., focusing on 19th-century military records.

This will be a virtual program. Members will receive an email with information to connect and others may email to sogs414@gmail.com. You may also attend at 1487 N. High Street, Hillsboro, to watch the presentation.
