Lady Mustangs win non-conference match with Eastern

Playing a conference opponent in a non-conference match on Wednesday, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs defeated the visiting Eastern Lady Warriors by a 4-0 score.

Earlier in the season in their conference meeting, LCHS also won over EHS by a 4-0 score.

For LCHS, they had goals from Caitlyn Collins, Jayden Maxfield, Miranda Smith and Aubrey Slack.

Assists went to Savannah Bell and Smith.

At goal for LCHS were Collins and Allie Waits, with Waits collecting four saves.

LCHS moves to 7-5-1 overall, and in the SHAC they are 4-0-1.

Mustangs, ’Cane tie at 1-1

Traveling to Clinton County on Wednesday, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs tied with their host, the Wilmington Hurricane, by a 1-1 score.

Scoring the goal for LCHS was Braedon West, as his goal was unassisted.

At goal for the Mustangs was Isaac Eyre with eight saves.

LCHS is now 5-0-1 in the SHAC and 9-3-2 overall.

Fairfield adds another SHAC win

Wednesday saw the Fairfield Lady Lions add another shutout win, this time defeating the Fayetteville Lady Rockets, 4-0 in conference play.

FHS moves to 11-2 overall and 4-0 in the SHAC.

Lions fall to Fayetteville

The Fairfield Lions lost a Southern Hills Athletic Conference game on Wednesday, falling to the visiting Fayetteville Rockets, 3-0.

Fairfield’s loss moves them to 2-3-0 in the SHAC and 2-10-0 overall.

Wildcats unable to slow down North Adams

Hosting the North Adams Green Devils on Thursday, the Whiteoak Wildcats lost to the North Adams Green Devils by a 9-0 score.

WHS moves to 1-4-0 in the SHAC standings and 6-5-0 in the SHAC standings.
