Greater Life Assembly is seeking sponsorships for Kids Camp from Aug. 8-13 at Camp Molly Lauman in Scioto County.

Southern Ohio Power Boat Association is sponsoring Strut Your Stuff, an "Anything on Wheels" Festival at the Amvet's Post 61 Park on 11541 North Shore Drive, Hillsboro. The festival will be on Sunday, May 23, with a scheduled rain date for Saturday, June 5.

A Trout Derby and Fun Shoot will be held at the Rocky Fork State Park Campground Docks on April 3 (rain date, April 4). Registration starts at 10 a.m. Fishing for ages 15 and under will be held from 1-4 p.m., and shooting for ages 15 and under will be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tagged money fish, archery shooting, shotgun shooting, and food and drinks will be featured. All guns and ammunition are provided. DO NOT bring your own shotgun or ammo!

The April 8 program of the Southern Ohio Genealogical Society will be given by SOGS' very own Mel Haines. Mr. Haines' topic will be "Using Time Lines to Augment Your Genealogy Research."

On April 10, Brush Creek Township Fire Department and Wildlife Conservation Foundation for Ohio will be hosting a bluegrass concert and fundraiser featuring Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers and Ashlee Cheesbro.

There will be an open house gathering on Sunday afternoon, April 11, for Maynard Surber's 90th birthday from 1-4 p.m. at his residence, 3275 Taylorsville Road

The Lynchburg Lions Club will have their monthly pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, April 3, at the Lynchburg Lions Club/Gun Club Building on Sharpsville Road in Lynchburg.
