Unofficial results area showing that Republican incumbent Shane Wilkin beat fellow GOP challenger Steve Cowdrey, while Paint Township Trustee Randy Mustard won over fellow Democrat Josh Patton Tuesday in the primary race for candidates for the Highland County Board of Commissioners.
According to unofficial results from the Highland County Board of Elections, Wilkin, who is seeking his second term in office, received 3,435 votes, while Cowdrey received 1,862.
Mustard had 873 votes, and Patton received 462 votes, unofficially.
