As part of the Ohio Department of Transportation – District 9’s Planning & Engineering Department, the district’s Environmental Office is seeking public input on the following proposed projects.

The Hillsboro Police Department is investigating an incident in the 700 block of North West Street after a report of gunshots being fired late Monday evening. After investigation, officers charged Kenny A. Price, Jr., 24, of 764 N. West St., with felonious assault.

Ohio’s week-long deer-gun season begins statewide Monday, Nov. 26 and runs through Sunday, Dec. 2, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ (ODNR) Division of Wildlife. The season again includes an extra weekend of gun hunting Dec. 15-16.
