The membership of one of higher education's most recognized honor societies, Phi Theta Kappa, was enhanced by the induction of several new members at a Nov. 20 ceremony held at Southern State Community College's central campus.

For the third year in a row, the Lynchburg-Clay Kindergarten collected items for the Highland County Animal Shelter.  The students also learned about animals and what they need to be taken care of.  Congratulations to Mrs. Roberts' class, as they donated the most items.
