Homecoming for the Fairfield Lions was a cause for celebration on the basketball court with the Lions winning their Southern Hills Athletic Conference game against the Manchester Greyhounds in convincing fashion.

Both the McClain Lady Tigers and Fairfield Lady Lions finished their 2023 portion of their basketball schedule with a Highland County rivalry game Friday night. The two teams battled at McClain Gym, where it was the home team Lady Tigers outlasting the Lady Lions, 29-16.
It was a big-time performance by Fairfield senior Faith Donley as she collected 21 points en route to a Lady Lions road win at East Clinton on Thursday night, winning by a 48-35 score.
In one of their closer games this season, the Fairfield Lions kept their winning ways going by defeating the Fayetteville Rockets, 58-53 on Friday (Dec. 22) at Fayetteville High School.
