Longtime baseball coach Chris Veidt was selected to the 2024 class of the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and cross-country runner Landen Eyre won the Southeast District Division III Cross Country Championships at the University of Rio Grande for the second straight year.
Opening Night, the annual talent showcase for McClain High School, will be presented on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the McClain auditorium.
Jackson Township, Highland County will hold a special meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 5, at the township’s Community Building, 1873 S.R. 73 in Belfast. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the recent advertisement for sale of the former Belfast School and the rights of Jackson Township.
